In the part where Goku charges into the air to deliver a combo, the movie includes an extra shot of Goku's upper body, but that part has been left out intentionally in the Dokkan version to maintain the immersion in the Super Attack animation and allow the movement of the attacks to flow more directly. Of course, that wouldn't matter if we weren't able to appreciate all the action taking place, so the Dokkan team painstakingly adjusted the animations for Goku's movement and changing expressions frame-by-frame to make sure all the visual info comes across as clearly as possible! Since the sequence had to be compressed down to fit the length of a Super Attack animation, the signature close-up shot and the changes in Goku's facial expressions have been made to prioritize momentum and contrast. Dragonframe pushes the functionality beyond frame grabbing to provide a full assortment of production tools. One of the movie's most memorable scenes has a furious Goku unleashing his Ki and blowing away a boulder, and you can experience that rage anew every time you activate his Active Super Attack, “Saiyan Who Absorbed the Power of God”, in Dokkan, Dragonframe Innovative Image Capture Software for Stop Motion Animation, Motion Design & Visual Effects Put Dragonframe at the heart of your next stop motion film. If you look very closely, you can also see that the color scheme and slight blurring have also been used to make the scene feel even more like the original. According to the development team, this was added to help express Goku's complex state of mind as he comes to terms with having become a Super Saiyan God. There's also a part at the end of the animation for Dokkan that wasn't in the movie in which we get a close-up shot of Goku closing his eyes after completing the transformation. That's why they picked out the best snippets to adequately portray the gravitas and majesty of that scene from the movie in Dokkan. In Dokkan, even with the limited time allowed for character animations, the development team simply couldn't leave that special scene out altogether! In the scene where Goku first transforms into a Super Saiyan God, he holds hands with his allies in a ring while images of a Great Ape, Planet Vegeta, Planet Earth, and the ancient Super Saiyan God flash in the background, representing how he's becoming a godly warrior that transcends the vast bounds of the universe.
